Paws, Reflect, and Heal with Dr. Randy
I’m Dr. Randy, and for those who might not be familiar with my work, I’ve dedicated my life to the health and well-being of animals. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for countless pets, ensuring they lead happy, healthy lives. My journey in veterinary medicine has been rewarding, challenging, and everything in between. But one of the highlights of my career has been connecting with pet owners directly, addressing their concerns, and sharing insights that could make a real difference in their pets’ lives. This passion for communication led me to host a successful radio program where I could answer pet owner’s questions live on air – Dr. Randy Pet Vet.
My radio program was more than just a show to me; it was a platform for connection, education, and community building. I loved the immediacy of radio, the way I could instantly provide advice and comfort to someone struggling with their pet’s health issues. It was incredibly fulfilling to know that my words could help alleviate a pet’s suffering or a pet owner’s anxiety. When I first started with my radio show no one really knew what Integrative Veterinary Medicine was – and now I feel people know what it is, but there’s a myriad of advice on the topic. Some of it is really good, and some of it isn’t helpful in the least.
My new podcast – Paws, Reflect, and Heal with Dr. Randy – aims to bring the same level of care, insight, and practical advice that characterized my radio show, but with the added benefits that the podcast format offers – like reaching a whole new audience.
One aspect of my radio show that I cherished was the interaction with pet owners—the questions that prompted not only solutions but often led to deeper discussions about pet care philosophies, preventive health, and the emotional bonds we share with our pets. I’m excited to carry this tradition over to my podcast and invite you, my listeners, to be an integral part of the conversation.
Do you have a question about your pet’s health? Are you curious about integrative veterinary medicine, or perhaps you need some advice on chronic health conditions? Whatever it is, I’d love to hear from you. You can submit a question by visiting the “Contact Us” page or dropping a comment or a DM on my Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok account. Your question(s) might just be featured in an upcoming episode of the podcast.
We’ll be dropping new episodes the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month and I’ll also be adding some articles to cover some frequently asked questions I’ve encountered over the years, as well as some questions we will get on the podcast.
